The cloud workbench for video post-production
From footage to delivery, all in one place.
Material library, script-to-timeline, versioned review, and delivery and payment status all live in the cloud. A CLI and cloud agent connect your local footage and edit machine, so you stop shuttling files by hand.

Capabilities already running in production, from footage to delivery
Material library: proxies + contact sheets
Auto camera & colour-space detection
Upload or ingest footage to auto-generate proxies and contact sheets — camera fingerprinting for Sony FX3 and log/colour-space detection from sidecar metadata.
Script management & self-serve timeline
Import xlsx, generate in one click
Import a script from xlsx and run script-to-timeline to self-serve a first-pass FCPXML timeline — no waiting on a manual assembly.
Timeline versions & diff
Compare any two cuts
Timelines are saved by version, and any two versions can be diffed directly — no more guessing which file name is current.
Review sessions
Comments land on the timecode
Send a review link to clients — feedback lands on the exact timecode instead of a screenshot with a guessed second.
Deliverables & status tracking
Contract · payment · release
Every deliverable tracks contract, payment and release status, so you can see where a project stands at a glance.
Communication records
Client history kept per project
Approvals and revision notes are kept with the project, so a handoff doesn't lose the conversation history.
Customer profiles
Client info in one place
Client contacts and past projects are archived centrally, so you're not re-asking for the same details each time.
CLI and cloud agent
Bridge local footage to the cloud
The cuthub CLI handles material intake, proxy generation, timeline archiving and proxy pull. The cloud agent (`cuthub attach` / `cuthub agent run`) runs those local jobs right on your own editing machine.
FCPXML → Premiere export
Owner-verified pilot
Export a timeline to a Premiere Pro project (.prproj) — verified for variable speed, dissolves, titles, camera moves via nests, and audio fades.
Online checkout
Pre-sale sign-up for now — Stripe checkout isn't live yet.
Desktop app
Still a concept direction, no installable build yet.
Premiere colour transfer
The Premiere export doesn't carry Lumetri colour grading yet.
A Typical CutHub Workflow
From plugging in a drive to delivery, how a project moves through CutHub
Plug in your footage
Connect the camera card or drive to your edit machine and get the footage ready.
Run cuthub attach, or upload
Run `cuthub attach` on the command line and the cloud agent handles material intake on your own machine, or upload straight from the web workspace.
The material library builds proxies and contact sheets
Proxies and contact sheets are generated automatically, sorted by camera fingerprint and colour space.
Script to timeline
Import your script from xlsx and run script-to-timeline to self-serve a first-pass FCPXML cut.
Polish it in your editor
Export to Final Cut, or use the Premiere export (pilot) to keep cutting in Premiere.
Send a review link
Generate a review link with timecoded comments and send it to the client for feedback.
Deliver, and track payment
Upload the final cut and track contract, payment and release status at a glance.
Why do editing projects need a "home"?
Compare with your current workflow
Without CutHub AI
- Projects scattered on hard drives, `final_final_v3.fcpxml` everywhere
- Have to export mp4s to cloud storage for client review
- Transcription in one SaaS, AI in another, NLE on local
- Team collaboration via screenshots + manual version numbers
- Can't find where you left off after switching computers
With CutHub AI
- A project list with clear processing status
- Transcripts and timeline tools in the same workspace
- Review and adjust the first-pass timeline generated from your script
- Project links for supported review workflows
- A browser entry point for returning to your projects
Who is CutHub AI for?

CutHub Desktop
We are developing a desktop editing experience built around natural-language instructions and timelines. The illustration below shows the direction; start in the web workspace today.
Cut all pauses longer than 3 seconds, keep filler words
Got it, I've identified 12 pauses, processing now...
Natural Language Editing
The desktop concept explores conversational instructions for timeline edits; this preview is not a released installer.
Format Interoperability
FCPXML tooling is available in the project. Broader Premiere XML and AAF interoperability is not currently promised.
AI-Native Architecture
Built from the ground up for AI, not AI features bolted onto traditional software
Data handling
Media and AI processing may use third-party services. See the privacy policy for how data is handled.
No public desktop installer is available yet. Use the web workspace to get started.
Project format tooling currently focuses on FCPXML
Frequently Asked Questions
Have other questions? Feel free to contact us
What stage is CutHub at? Can I use it today?
The web workspace already works: the material library, script-to-timeline, timeline versions and review, and delivery tracking are real, working features. We're in a pre-sale phase — sign up to lock in founder early-bird pricing.
Is there a desktop app?
Not yet. The desktop app is currently just a concept direction with no installable build. The "desktop concept preview" further down the page is illustrative only — start with the web workspace.
I use Final Cut / Premiere — does it connect?
CutHub has FCPXML tooling, plus a pilot FCPXML → Premiere Pro (.prproj) export verified for variable speed, dissolves, titles, camera moves and audio fades. Colour-grade transfer isn't included yet, and not every NLE format is supported.
Will I be charged after signing up for the pre-sale? Can I cancel?
Pre-sale sign-up doesn't charge you anything — online Stripe checkout isn't open yet, so there's no bill to cancel. Signing up locks in founder early-bird pricing; we'll notify you when paid checkout opens.
Does CutHub host my original footage?
Projects contain timeline metadata and media references. Where your source footage actually lives depends on the tool and storage configuration — signing in doesn't mean every local file is synced.
What do the cuthub CLI and agent do?
The CLI handles material intake, proxy generation, timeline archiving and proxy pull. The cloud agent (`cuthub attach`) runs those local jobs right on your own editing machine, so you don't upload your whole footage set first.
