Cuthub User Guide
From beginner to pro, get started with Cuthub quickly
Quick Start
Open the web workspace
Start from the workspace and sign in to see projects available to your account. You do not need to install a desktop app first.
Choose a project or tool
Select an existing project or an available tool from the workspace. Restricted projects require the appropriate access.
Review and organize your project
Open the project to inspect its timeline, materials or review versions. Tools that use local media still need access to those files; signing in does not upload them automatically.
Review versions and feedback
Projects with a review view keep versions and client comments together. Check the access options before sharing, and preserve original feedback separately from conclusions.
FAQ
How does CutHub handle source media?
Projects can contain timeline metadata and media references. Source media locations depend on the tool and storage configuration; signing in does not synchronize every local file.
Can I use Final Cut project files?
CutHub includes FCPXML tools; check each tool for its supported workflow. The desktop app has no public installer yet. Do not assume that AAF or every editing application format is supported.
Can I use CutHub without the desktop app?
Yes. Start with the web workspace and its available projects and tools. Features that use local files still require the media connection described by the tool.
How do I access a private project?
Restricted projects require a valid sign-in and the appropriate access. If a project is still unavailable after sign-in, ask its owner to check your access.
How can I get help?
Use the contact page to choose a support channel and describe the page and issue. Do not include passwords, sign-in credentials or unrelated private information.
